Fatah Jang Tehsildar Shafqat Mahmood Honored as Best Revenue Officer for Tackling Wheat Smuggling

Fatah Jang (Saqib Khattar) — In a high-level district meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza, Tehsildar Fatah Jang, Ch. Shafqat Mahmood, was declared the Best Revenue Officer for his exemplary performance in combating wheat smuggling, tackling profiteers, and streamlining revenue collection. Fatah Jang outperformed all other tehsils in the district, setting a new standard in governance and public service.

The meeting, attended by assistant commissioners, tehsildars, and revenue officials, reviewed the overall district performance and emphasized the effective implementation of government policies. DC Rao Atif Raza praised Ch. Shafqat Mahmood’s relentless efforts and bold actions, which transformed Fatah Jang into a model tehsil. The crackdown on wheat smugglers was hailed as a significant step towards protecting public interest and reflecting the government’s commitment to law and order.

Achievements highlighted during the meeting included timely land transfers, correction of blocked khewats, 100% recovery of government dues, and decisive measures against land grabbers and market mafias. As Special Price Control Magistrate, Ch. Shafqat Mahmood’s firm stance against market exploitation was also praised.

All officers present pledged to strengthen district-level command and control, ensuring sustained governance improvements and upholding the rule of law. The Attock administration declared its readiness to take necessary actions to safeguard public interests and deliver effective governance under the leadership of CM Maryam Nawaz.
