Fake Educational Documents Exposed In Russian Scholarship Applications

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) –  Another case of submitting fake and tampered educational documents to obtain free scholarships in Russia surfaced on Monday. Russia is currently offering 150 fully funded educational scholarships to Pakistani students, with the online application process under way.

During scrutiny, the Russian Scientific and Heritage Center in Karachi released the names of candidates found using forged and fake academic documents.

The individuals identified were Ashraf Imran, Shafiq Arham, and Arshad Mohammad Faizan, all residents of Gujranwala.

The center confirmed that their scholarship applications would be rejected. It also issued a stern warning, stating that anyone found submitting fake or forged documents for admissions in Russia in the future would face strict action.
