Every suicide has a killer…
Few days ago, the mother who threw her five-year-old child into the river from the Domail Bridge, Muzaffarabad and jumped into the river must have done it because she was fed up with the circumstances. This was the second incident of this month in the city of Muzaffarabad, even though the matter did not end here. Today, another couple including five innocent children were seen wandering near Domail bridge, so the police immediately informed the SSP office. And SSP Yasin Baig called them to the office, where after questioning, he found out that he was tired of poverty and had thought of jumping into the river today.
I remember that according to the 2015 survey report, the research analysis department of ARY News called Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir, as the richest city in Pakistan. There is no donkey cart to be seen in the whole city, no one forced to ride a bicycle and no beggar to be seen commonly. But it has been seen that 2022 brought a big change in the situation, as soon as the situation of the Covid pandemic ended, many new faces were seen adorning the city. A small bowl-shaped city that used to be like a village is no longer alike like it was. Where everyone used to know the next person they met now sees thousands of unfamiliar faces a day.
The question arises that these non-state people have finally come and settled in the city through which law? The city of Muzaffarabad, where there used to be a few beggars, now the small children who have come here from Punjab to beg captivates the hearts of every citizen. But their presence is not positive at all. Due to this professional beggar group, the rights of the poor and the needy in the city have also been destroyed, due to which the hilly and hopeless poor of Muzaffarabad are now forced to jump into the rivers.
The ALLAH Pak who gives sustenance to the worm in the stone, who gives feed to the chick in the egg, how will he let any of his highest of all creatures die of hunger and poverty? Absolutely not! No, this is not possible.
But our faith has also become too weak to get this encouragement of wisdom and courage. Most of us greet the person, whose pocket is full of money, the one who gets off the bus or the one who walks by doesn’t matter to us. The importance of humanity is gone, only the loudness and noise of wealth remains. Of course, in this digital world, it is not easily possible to eliminate such dilemmas, but it is very important to share the sufferings of our countrymen as a feeling and compassion.
The sun never shines for itself, the tree never eats its fruit, the flower does not perfume itself with its fragrance, the river does not drink its own water, that is, living for others is the law of nature. We have to adapt ourselves to the laws of nature, this will make life easier not only for us but also for others and it’s the secret of real happiness.
Famous philosophical poet Dr. Hazrat Allama Iqbal said;
Indeed, everyone lives for himself !
The purpose of life is to serve others
We have to take special care of all the needy in our society in order to fulfill the real purpose of life, it becomes our moral responsibility to fulfill the right of every person who has been imposed on us by God. Taking care of all our relatives, friends, neighbors, citizens and residents, fulfilling their needs becomes our moral, social and religious responsibility.
Remember the picture of the child whose 24-year-old mother first threw her child into the river and then jumped in or the 5-year-older baby boy and her mother. These two innocent children are no longer with us and this innocence was not at all worth the cruelty that was inflicted on them. But remember, it cannot be easy for a mother to kill her own children, we may not even be able to imagine the pressures that a mother goes through to take such a step.
I also remember the incident that happened in Bagh district, AJK a few years ago when an eight-year-old child was killed for picking up a toy worth Rs.20. So after investigation it was found that the toy was just an excuse to not let this child play with their children.Since that child belonged to a poor father, the nobles did not like the child of the poor to play with their children. If we become so apathetic, we will surely perish the whole nation very soon.
We should take special care of our relatives, friends, neighbors and those around us. We should meet them from time to time, and find out whether they need us in any case. Lest it be too late and someone holds his breath that there is no support for him.
I would like to pay tribute to Azad Kashmir Police Department, especially SSP Yasin Baig, who timely saved this new family from drowning in Jhelum river. This man, who was thrown out of his home by his close brothers, the noble soul, who had become hopeless after stumbling here and there, decided to drown himself along with his entire family. Giving hope and courage to live while preventing such a person from committing suicide. Then sympathetic person like Bilal Ahmad, Managing Director Premier School immediately hired him and admitted the children to their own school for free education. However, the problem of accommodation of this one family still remains. Hopefully, another good-hearted person will play his part in this effort and solve their problems. The Almighty will be kind to you, Heroes!

We are killing our own people for greed, wealth and fame. Time and circumstances don’t take long to take a turn. ÐYesterday’s kings seem to have become today’s pauper. Then, we common citizens come to a wave where we don’t take care of our nearest poor brother, but start humiliating them? Let’s make a promise, that I will surely light the candle of my share. I promise that I will not turn my back when I see someone in trouble! If I can’t do anything, I will definitely pray for him, I will definitely be courageous and I will be a hope. Yes, I will save my people from dying.
