Enemy Brought to Its Knees: PM Shehbaz Commends Pakistan’s Military Might

ISLAMABAD-(Mudassar Iqbal)-Addressing the nation, PM Shehbaz said that Pakistan made a deliberate decision to respond to Indian aggression in the language it understands — with force.
“Within hours, our armed forces silenced the enemy’s guns in a manner that history will remember,” he said.
He noted that the sight of Indian airbases turning into rubble was a direct consequence of Pakistan’s resolute retaliation. “The blood of our brave soldiers boils at the enemy’s nefarious intentions,” he added.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif lauded Pakistan’s armed forces for giving befitting reply to India’s provocation under the Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.
PM Shehbaz, in his address to the nation, castigated India for imposing an “unprovoked and unjust war” against Pakistan.
He said the world had now witnessed the dignity, self-respect, and unity of the Pakistani nation.
The premier said India used the Pahalgam incident as a pretext to launch military aggression against Pakistan. “The recent actions of the enemy were cowardly and shameful,” he remarked
Addressing the nation, the prime minister started with Quranic verse from Surah Al-Saff (61:4) and said that India attempted to impose war on Pakistan, using the Pahalgam incident as a pretext.
“Our brave and valiant forces delivered a resounding response, bringing the enemy to its knees.”
PM Shehbaz extended congratulations to the proud and dignified people of Pakistan, saying that the world has been made aware that Pakistan is a sovereign and honorable nation.
Soon after United States President Donald Trump made the announcement, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also confirmed the development.

“Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Ishaq Dar wrote on social media platform X.
The prime minister expressed gratitude to the country’s civil and military leadership, media, and citizens for standing united amid tensions with India.
Addressing the nation, he thanked Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir for his exemplary leadership.
He also lauded Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu and Pakistan Air Force personnel for their outstanding performance during the recent escalation.
The premier also thanked PML-N President Nawaz Sharif for his leadership and President Asif Ali Zardari for his valuable consultation.
He also lauded journalists and social media users who played a vital role in countering Indian disinformation campaigns.
