Ederson Joins Fenerbahce After Legendary Manchester City Career

Brazilian—(Special Correspondent/Web Desk)—Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson has officially joined Fenerbahçe after an amazing eight-year spell with Manchester City, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

During his time at City, Ederson lifted 18 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League victory. The Brazilian shot-stopper also claimed the Premier League Golden Glove award three times, proving his world-class talent.

“Ederson has completed a permanent transfer to Fenerbahce, subject to international clearance. We wish him the very best,” Manchester City said in their statement.

Reports suggest City plan to replace the 32-year-old Brazilian international with Italian star Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain.

Sharing his feelings, Ederson said, “I leave Manchester City proud of everything we achieved together. It has been an honor to wear this shirt.”

He thanked Pep Guardiola and added, “Under Pep, we dominated the Premier League and conquered Europe. This has been the best chapter of my life.”

Ederson also expressed love for City fans, saying, “Once a Blue, always a Blue.”
