Deputy PM Ishaq Dar Briefs UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Regional Situation

ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, during which he briefed him on the evolving regional situation and conveyed Pakistan’s firm stance on peace and stability.

During the call, Dar discussed recent developments, including India’s unilateral actions and baseless allegations, with particular emphasis on concerns surrounding the Indus Waters Treaty. He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to defending its national interests and upholding regional peace.

Dar also informed his British counterpart of Pakistan’s readiness to conduct a transparent investigation into the recent Pahalgam incident in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
