Cyclone Shakti is weakening, so PMD issues its eleventh alert.

Cyclone Shakti weakens but still brings rain and strong winds to Pakistan's coastal regions, officials warn.

Pakistan – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk)- The Pakistan Meteorological Department has shared an important update about Cyclone Shakti. The storm has lost power and is now a regular cyclone, no longer a severe one. It is currently situated far away in the sea, about 910 kilometres southwest of Karachi. Forecasters expect it to become even weaker over the next day, turning into a simple weather depression.

Because of the cyclone, the coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan might see some light rain today. The weather alert also mentions that strong winds and high waves are possible near the shore. Wind speeds could reach between 70 and 90 kilometres per hour, which may affect people living along the coast and those who work in fishing.

Officials have issued a clear warning to all fishermen, asking them to avoid going out into the deep sea. The water in the Arabian Sea is expected to be very rough and unsafe. Everyone is urged to follow these safety tips until the cyclone has completely faded away.
