Islamabad Gets New CTO as Kainat Azhar Khan Appointed

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan has officially assumed charge of her office and immediately chaired an important meeting with all zonal DSPs to review traffic management, enforcement strategies, and public service delivery across the federal capital.

During the meeting, a detailed assessment of traffic operations and enforcement mechanisms was conducted. The CTO emphasized that promoting traffic discipline, ensuring effective traffic management, and providing quality travel facilities to citizens remain the top priorities of Islamabad Traffic Police.

Kainat Azhar Khan directed officers to further strengthen the enforcement of traffic laws and take indiscriminate action against violators. She specifically ordered strict enforcement against lane violations, one-way violations, the use of mobile phones while driving, non-compliance with seat belt regulations, illegal and non-standard number plates, underage driving, as well as dangerous activities such as one-wheeling and drifting.

The CTO reaffirmed that Islamabad Traffic Police will utilize all available resources and capabilities to provide the best possible services to citizens through modern, efficient, and technology-driven traffic management practices.
