CTD Kills Five Terrorists in Intelligence-Based Operation Near Quetta
Security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons, explosives, and maps indicating sensitive locations from the site.
QUETTA – June 21, 2025: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan successfully neutralized five terrorists during an intelligence-based operation near Pir Alizai Jungle, close to Quetta, on Saturday.
According to a CTD spokesperson, the operation was launched based on credible intelligence, and an intense exchange of fire ensued between CTD personnel and the militants. All five terrorists were killed in the encounter.
Security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons, explosives, and maps indicating sensitive locations from the site. “These terrorists were involved in multiple attacks in the Pishin and Qila Abdullah districts,” the spokesperson revealed, noting that the operation dealt a major blow to the terror networks active in the region.
