The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Lakki Marwat police and security forces have killed four terrorists during a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Takhtikhel limits of Norang police station,
According to the details, the police received information about the presence of terrorists belonging to a banned terrorist organization in the Takhtikhel area of Norang police station who were planning to carry out terrorist activities.
Taking prompt action after receiving the information, CTD police and security forces encircled the area.
During the operation, an exchange of fire started with the terrorists, which continued for a long time and four terrorists were killed during the operation.
Automatic weapons were also recovered from the possession of the dead terrorists while identification of the dead terrorists is ongoing.
The CTD police and security forces continued search operations in the area to arrest the rest of their associates.
