CTD Bannu Eliminates Key TTP Commander in Lakki Marwat Operation

BANNU: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Bannu killed a key terrorist commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during a intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Sunday in Lakki Marwat.
The operation took place on Tajuri Road near Malang Adda, where armed terrorists opened fire indiscriminately on the police. The police retaliated, resulting in the death of one terrorist while his accomplices managed to escape.

The deceased was identified as Wali Allah alias Wali, son of Hazrat Ali, a resident of Bachkan Ahmedzai District, Lakki Marwat. He was a local commander of the TTP’s Tipu Gul group and the son-in-law of Commander Atiqur Rahman alias Tipu Gul Marwat.
Wali Allah was wanted in numerous cases, including bomb blasts and attacks on police and security forces in Bannu, DI Khan, and other areas. The police recovered arms and two hand grenades from his possession.
This operation marks a significant victory for the CTD Bannu in their ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and maintain security in the region.
