Islamabad Court Issues Lifelong Warrants For PTI Leader Omar Ayub

ISLAMABAD: (Special Reporter) – An Islamabad court has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub Khan a proclaimed offender in a case related to the November 26 protest and issued lifelong arrest warrants against him.

Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi heard the case on Saturday after Omar Ayub failed to appear before the court despite multiple summons.

A case was registered against the PTI leader at Islamabad’s Secretariat Police Station under various legal sections related to alleged offences connected with the protest.

The case relates to the PTI demonstration held on November 26, 2024, with several other cases linked to the same protest currently being heard in courts across the federal capital.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is also among the individuals named in the FIRs registered in connection with the protests.
