COAS Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Regional Peace and Anti-Terror Cooperation

RAWALPINDI: Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir during his visit to the General Headquarters (GHQ).

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Ali Larijani arrived at GHQ where he held a meeting with the Army Chief.

The meeting focused on strengthening Pakistan-Iran relations, enhancing bilateral cooperation, and reviewing regional and current security matters.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability and emphasized the need for close cooperation with Iran to eliminate terrorism.

Ali Larijani said that mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Iran is essential for addressing regional challenges and ensuring lasting stability.
