Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on assuming the role of Prime Minister at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad. During the meeting, the Army Chief expressed his well wishes and congratulations to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for taking charge of the federal ministry.
According to details, the meeting between the Army Chief and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif focused on matters related to the professional and security affairs of the Pakistan Army. The Army Chief briefed on ongoing intelligence-based operations against terrorism. Additionally, discussions were held on matters concerning national and internal security during the meeting.
