Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz launches Community Health Inspectors Project to empower women and improve public healthcare across Punjab.
Punjab – (Special Correspondent / Correspondent / Web Desk) – Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that the province follows proactive governance rather than reacting to challenges. Speaking at the launch of the Community Health Inspectors Project in Lahore on Wednesday, she highlighted the power of women in transforming society. Maryam Nawaz stated that when mothers, sisters, and daughters take active roles in the field, Punjab becomes unstoppable.

She expressed confidence that the women of Punjab have the strength to change the province’s future, saying, “If the daughters of Punjab stand firm, the province’s destiny can be reshaped.” The Chief Minister also commended Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir, the Health Secretary, and their entire team for their tireless efforts in strengthening public health.
Maryam Nawaz added that Punjab’s women are courageous and resilient, and with 25,000 community health inspectors actively working in the field, diseases will be effectively controlled across the province.
She said when a disease occurs, one has to endure the pain of treatment and we want to take precautionary measures in advance.
Maryam Nawaz said the government will not wait any longer, but will go to the homes on its own.
Community health inspectors are ready to share healing with suffering humanity after several months of training, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said.
She said community health inspectors are my eyes, ears, my pride and my respect.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said by the grace of Allah Almighty, today we are self-sufficient in every field.
Community health inspectors will be able to perform diagnostic tests and injections, including blood sugar, Maryam Nawaz said.
She took interest in designing the uniform of the community health inspectors and approved the toolkit herself, Maryam Nawaz said.
Maryam Nawaz said 25,000 people got jobs in the community health inspectors’ program and government is paying Rs50,000 salary to each.

If the community health inspectors show their work, their salaries will be increased, Maryam Nawaz said.
I realize that these sisters, daughters, will go to every street and work hard, then they should also be paid well, Maryam Nawaz added.
Maryam Nawaz said through the community health inspectors project, the health profile of every household will be prepared, diseases will be assessed and the entire record will be kept in digital tape.
Now the daughter of the nation is serving and her honor is the duty of everyone, Maryam Nawaz said.
Any disease will be checked up and patient will be sent to the relevant hospital for treatments, if necessary, Maryam Nawaz said.
She said the time has come when no one has to come to the government, the government should come on its own.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said a wonderful example of governance in Punjab is Suthra Punjab as Suthra Punjab teams are going door to door from all over the province to collect garbage.
My dream is that those who come to government hospitals should never face any difficulty, Maryam Nawaz said.
Punjab government is providing free medicines for cancer and heart diseases, and cardiology institutes have been built in Sargodha, Sahiwal and Murree, Maryam Nawaz said.
One could have thought that the Cath Lab would also be built in Jhelum and heart diseases would be treated, Maryam Nawaz said.
She announced that government is also going to start Cath Labs in Jhang and Gujranwala soon.
We are trying to provide every facility needed by the people of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz said.

I want to tell the community health inspectors that this is not a job but a mission, Maryam Nawaz said.
She said the women of Punjab will create their own unique place in the field and women can play a great role for the development of Punjab.
She said 30 million people were treated from the Clinic on Wheel and field hospitals.
