ISLAMABAD: (Finance Desk) – Retail cement prices declined across Pakistan during the week ended August 27, according to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
The average price of a 50kg cement bag in northern cities and areas fell to Rs1,555, down 0.63% from Rs1,565 recorded a week earlier.
In southern markets, the average price decreased to Rs1,539 per bag, compared with Rs1,547 in the previous week, representing a 0.53% decline.
According to PBS data, the average retail price of a 50kg cement bag was Rs1,532 in Islamabad and Rs1,535 in Rawalpindi.
