BSEK Releases Admit Cards for Matric Exams

KARACHI: (Web Desk) – The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has uploaded admit cards for the 2026 matriculation examinations on its official website, making them accessible to students and educational institutions.

According to Board Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soho, the annual examinations for ninth and tenth grades will commence on April 7, with approximately 358,000 candidates expected to appear.

Students who are unable to download their admit cards online have been advised to visit the Board office, specifically Room No. 5, to obtain them without delay.

The examinations will be conducted in two shifts daily. The morning session, scheduled from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, will be designated for science group papers, while the afternoon shift will accommodate remaining subjects.

To ensure smooth preparation and facilitate students, the Board office will remain open over the weekend.

Strict security arrangements have been put in place to maintain transparency and discipline during the examinations. Authorities have enforced Section 144 at all examination centres, banning unauthorised entry and restricting gatherings within a 200-yard radius.

Additionally, the use of mobile phones has been strictly prohibited both inside and around examination venues. Over 23,000 personnel have been deployed to oversee the process, while CCTV cameras have been installed at centres to monitor activities and prevent malpractice.
