Karachi-An explosion shook the New Sabzi Mandi in Karachi on Monday, resulting in at least one injury.Authorities are still investigating the cause of the blast. The explosion caused significant damage, shattering windows in nearby stores and buildings, and affecting several vehicles and motorcycles. It narrowly missed a security guard stationed outside a bank.
The blast, believed to have originated from a sewage drain beneath a private bank in the vegetable market, led to the collapse of the floor above the drain. Additionally, the explosion forcefully propelled a motorcycle onto the roof of a nearby car. Police arrived promptly at the scene to assess the situation.

CCTV footage of the explosion captures a cloud of dust erupting at the moment of the blast. While police are still investigating the cause, initial reports indicate that it might have been caused by a gas leak. The explosion led to widespread panic and caused a stampede in the area.
