Earthquake Tremors Impact Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Tremors Recorded at Magnitude 4.5; No Major Damage Reported
KP-Early Monday morning, mild earthquake tremors were felt across several northern regions of Pakistan, including Chitral and Upper Dir.
The Pakistan Seismological Center recorded the quake at a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale. The tremors caused brief panic among residents and were also felt in areas such as Malakand, Bathkela, Swat, Mingora, and Shangla. Thankfully, there have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
Strong Earthquake Rocks Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, No Casualties
The Seismological Center noted that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 151 kilometers, with its epicenter in the Hindukush mountain range, a region known for its seismic activity.
