Dera Ghazi Khan(Khalid Saddozai):Assistant Director Imran Javed of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has arrested three retailers for illegally withdrawing funds meant for deserving women in Daira Deen Panah, at suburb of Kot Addo.
The retailers, who were caught red-handed, had been operating an out-of-location device at the BISP center for three days, exploiting beneficiaries by deducting Rs 500 to 1000 from their withdrawals. The scam was exposed by local media and residents, leading to a swift crackdown by Assistant Director Imran Javed and his team. An FIR has been registered against the retailers at the Daira Deen Panah police station.”
