BISE Lahore Announces Matric Position Holders For 2026

Lahore: (Staff Reporter) – The Punjab Secretary for Higher Education on Wednesday announced the position holders for the 2026 Matric examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore.

According to official figures, around 285,000 students appeared in the annual matriculation examinations under the Lahore Board.

Overall, Amina Mahboob, a student of Educators High School, Kasur, secured the highest marks by scoring 1,192, earning the overall first position. Muhammad Qasim of Punjab Daanish High School, Rajanpur, claimed the overall second position with 1,191 marks, while Azwa Javed of Punjab Girls High School, Johar Town, secured third place with 1,190 marks.

Higher Education Secretary Mudassar Riaz announced the names of the top-performing students during the official ceremony.

In the Science Group (Boys), Muhammad Qasim topped with 1,191 marks. Muhammad Ayan and Onkar Singh jointly secured the second position with 1,189 marks each, while the next position went to Muhammad Ayan with 1,188 marks.

In the Science Group (Girls), Amina Mahboob secured first place with 1,192 marks, followed by Azwa Javed with 1,190 marks and Fatima Abrar with 1,189 marks.

Among Arts Group (Boys), Muhammad Abdullah stood first with 1,126 marks. Muhammad Bilal Baig secured second position with 1,112 marks, while Ahmed Hafeez claimed third position with 1,109 marks.

In the Arts Group (Girls) category, Fareeba Khan secured first position with 1,170 marks. Iman Fatima Saleem obtained second position with 1,166 marks, while Fatima Abdul Samad finished third with 1,150 marks.
