Bilawal Urges PTI to End Extremist Politics, Promote Dialogue
He urged political parties to collaborate to foster constructive politics in the country.
LARKANA (Web Desk) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to abandon extremist politics and operate within constitutional limits.
Speaking to the media in Larkana, Bilawal emphasized that extremism fails to resolve national challenges and that genuine progress and stability can only be achieved through dialogue and adherence to democratic norms. He urged political parties to collaborate to foster constructive politics in the country.
Bilawal also advised the federal government to adopt the public-private partnership (PPP) model to address economic issues, particularly fiscal constraints. Highlighting Sindh’s successful experience, he noted that the model has received international recognition, with The Economist ranking it sixth in the region, and stressed it could be replicated federally and in other provinces.
Referring to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s 18th death anniversary, Bilawal clarified that the meeting was commemorative and involved no political discussions.
He reiterated that long-term solutions to economic and security challenges require sustainable political stability rather than prolonged dominance by any single party. Bilawal also warned that politics driven by extremism invites harsh reactions, and attacks on state institutions in response to arrests or legal actions are unjustified.
