ISLMABAD: Following India’s defeat to Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup final in Dubai, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to conduct an investigation into the team’s performance.
According to Indian media, the investigation will question the team’s coach and captain about the reasons behind the loss. The inquiry may also review players’ behavior and discipline during the tournament.
In the final, Pakistan defeated India by a massive margin of 191 runs, thanks to an outstanding innings by Samir Minhas. The heavy loss has sparked widespread criticism of the Indian U19 team.
