Balochistan’s Youth, Especially Women, Shine in Pakistan’s Armed Forces

Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi Hails Growing Opportunities for Balochistan’s Women,

Quetta-Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Women Development, praised the inclusion of Balochistan’s youth, particularly women, in Pakistan’s armed forces. During her visit to Navy Headquarters Quetta, she emphasized the significance of their participation in safeguarding the nation.

“I am proud to see Balochistan’s youth, especially women, stepping forward to defend our nation. Their involvement showcases the growing opportunities for women to play an active role in Pakistan’s security,” Dr. Buledi said.

On this occasion, Navy Commandant Officer presented her with a commemorative souvenir.
Dr. Rubaba Buledi discussed several initiatives aimed at advancing opportunities for the people of Balochistan. A key point of the discussion was the recruitment of women from Balochistan into various departments of the Pakistan Navy. Dr. Rubaba Buledi remarked, Increasing women’s representation in the Navy is crucial for gender equality and for tapping into the immense potential of the women in our province.

The establishment of a Bahria University campus in Quetta was also a central topic of discussion. Dr. Rubaba Buledi stated, The establishment of Bahria University in Quetta will bring world-class educational opportunities to the region, enabling our youth—especially women—to thrive in their academic and professional pursuits.

Another significant topic discussed was the development of a Maritime Technology Training Park for Balochistan’s youth. This training park will provide advanced skill development in maritime technologies, offering our young people new career pathways and fostering economic growth in the region, Dr. Rubaba Buledi added
