We are not concerned with this. It is wrong to think that the lawyers were protecting the accused. The lawyers have done what they have done to protect the judicial system. According to the court law, the police cannot arrest the accused from the lawyer’s office to the court. The incident that happened in Rawalkot was the reason for the tension between the lawyers and the police. They have adopted a scandalous behavior which is condemnable. Then the police officer misbehaved in the hall of the district criminal court, which we are also concerned about. They said that there were two responsible police officers in the hall. If it is the fault of the bar, then we are ready to apologize. Now the police have made this matter a matter of ego and have started raiding the houses of lawyers, torture and arrests. Lawyers have been arrested and their cars have been vandalized. Which is a serious violation of the constitution and the law, they have demanded that the higher authorities should take notice of the seriousness of the situation, otherwise the responsibility of any kind of damage will be on the police. Ishaq, whose name was not included in the FIR, has been released on the order of District and Sessions Judge Poonch.
