Gaddafi Stadium to Host Pakistan-Australia Three-Match T20I Series
Islamabad: (Mudassar Ch/ Web Desk) – Cricket Australia has officially confirmed Pakistan’s tour for a three-match T20I series at the end of January, serving as crucial preparation ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The series will be played entirely at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, with matches scheduled for January 29, January 31, and February 1. The Australian squad is set to arrive in Lahore on January 28. The toss for all three matches will take place at 5:30 pm PST, with the first ball scheduled for 6:00 pm.
This series holds significant importance for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup. Pakistan will compete in Group A, while Australia has been drawn in Group B.
Since March 2022, Australia has toured Pakistan twice, including a Test series, three ODIs, and one T20I, as well as matches during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. In their only previous T20I at Gaddafi Stadium, Australia defeated Pakistan by three wickets.
