Australia Announce Preliminary Squad for T20 World Cup

ISLAMABAD: Cricket Australia has announced its preliminary squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. According to Cricket Australia, Pat Cummins, Cameron Green, and Cooper Connolly have made their return to the squad after missing the recent series against India.

Chief selector George Bailey stated that this is an initial squad and changes may be made if required. The squad includes captain Mitchell Marsh, Xavier Bartlett, Tim David, Cooper Connolly, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Kuhnemann, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa.

Australia’s chief selector also added that the squad for the three-match T20 series against Pakistan will be announced at a later stage.
