InvestPak portal launched to simplify and promote investment across Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: (Mudassar Iqbal) – Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Monday launched the InvestPak Portal in Karachi, reaffirming the government’s commitment to facilitating local and foreign investors and expanding access to investment opportunities.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the finance minister congratulated Jameel Ahmad, Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, on the initiative. He described the portal as an important step towards a new phase of investment and digital financial services in Pakistan.
Aurangzeb said the platform had been introduced to encourage foreign investment by giving investors easier online access to available opportunities through a modern digital system. He added that Pakistan has considerable potential for investment across several sectors and that the portal would make investment procedures faster, simpler and more aligned with international standards.
The finance minister said people can now begin investing with as little as Rs5,000 through the JazzCash app, a move aimed at supporting retail investors. He added that activity at the Pakistan Stock Exchange has increased and that the government is encouraging young people, especially Generation Z, to take interest in investment and financial markets.

He said digital initiatives such as InvestPak could support Pakistan’s economic development, while stressing that the private sector has an essential role in driving sustainable growth and investment.
Earlier, SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad said practical measures were being taken to promote investment and that the InvestPak portal would play an important role in strengthening digital investment services in the country.
He said the platform would offer investors online access to investment-related services, making the process more transparent, convenient and efficient. He added that the one-window facility would help speed up investment procedures as the economy moves towards greater stability.
