Arshad Nadeem Honored with Global Sports Award

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan celebrated another sporting achievement as athlete Arshad Nadeem received a prestigious award during the World Sports Summit, attended by renowned global sports personalities.

Arshad Nadeem was honored with the Global Breakthrough Athlete of the Year award. During the ceremony, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, son of Dubai’s ruler, presented him with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Award and praised his accomplishments.

The award recognized Arshad Nadeem’s outstanding performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he threw 92.97 meters to win the gold medal.

Federal Information Minister Awais Tarar congratulated Arshad, calling the award a moment of pride for Pakistan and celebrating him as a national hero.
