Arif Saeed Elected to ISSA Executive Board for 2026-2029
The election was held during the 15th ISSA General Assembly in Taif, Saudi Arabia.
ISLAMABAD: (Sports Reporter) – Arif Saeed, President of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) and South Asian Olympic Council, has been elected to the Executive Board of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) as Regional Representative for Asia and Europe for the 2026-2029 term.
The election was held during the 15th ISSA General Assembly in Taif, Saudi Arabia. The General Assembly comprises representatives from 57 member National Olympic Committees.

Saeed brings extensive leadership and institutional experience from the corporate sector, along with longstanding contributions to sports administration and initiatives aimed at promoting youth development and participation in sports.
His election to the ISSA Executive Board is expected to provide an important platform for Pakistan to contribute to athlete development and welfare, strengthen cooperation among member National Olympic Committees, and support the continued growth of sports across the ISSA membership.
