Apple Sues OpenAI Over Alleged Trade Secrets Theft

Apple Files Lawsuit Accusing OpenAI of Stealing Confidential Trade Secrets

ISLAMABAD: (News Desk) – Apple has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, alleging the artificial intelligence company engaged in a coordinated effort to obtain confidential trade secrets while developing its own consumer hardware products. The case was submitted Friday in a federal court in California and claims OpenAI deliberately targeted Apple employees to gain access to proprietary information.

According to the 41-page complaint, Apple alleges OpenAI recruited current and former Apple staff and sought confidential technical knowledge that could accelerate the development of its own hardware device. The iPhone maker argues the alleged actions were organized across multiple levels of OpenAI’s leadership and involved coordination with business partners.
