Apple plans major camera upgrades and redesign for iPhone 18

iPhone 18 Could Be Apple's Biggest Leap Yet in Camera Tech and Design

iPhone 18 – (Web Desk) – According to Geeky Gadgets, the iPhone 18 is being built with a noticeably better user experience in mind, with Apple focusing heavily on camera quality and hardware improvements.

The Pro Max model is expected to stand out with a smarter camera system — one that includes a variable aperture, giving users more control over low-light shots and depth of field. A 42-megapixel front camera is also on the cards, which should make selfies and video calls look sharper than ever.

On top of that, a periscope zoom lens could bring optical zoom up to 10x, making it a solid option for anyone who loves shooting from a distance.

The design is also expected to see subtle but meaningful changes, including a smaller Dynamic Island to create a more expansive display and thinner bezels for a more modern look.

The report added that Apple is also revising its product launch strategy.

The standard iPhone 18 is expected to debut in spring, while Pro and Pro Max models may continue with a September launch cycle.

In addition, the company is reportedly preparing to enter the foldable smartphone market with its first foldable iPhone, expected to be unveiled in December, marking a potential new direction in its product lineup.
