All KP govt schools to get CCTV cameras: CM Sohail Afridi
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has directed the authorities concerned to install CCTV cameras in all government schools across the province to ensure safety and monitoring.
Chief minister Sohail Afridi visited Shaheed Mubeen Shah Afridi Higher Secondary School in Peshawar, where he directed the authorities to ensure an earliest work on this project.
Addressing the gathering, the chief minister also announced the inclusion of Ethics as a new subject in the school curriculum, aimed at increasing positive outcomes of the KP students.
The CM also emphasized that education along with proper training is essential for success.
Regarding this, he assured that all the required facilities in government schools will also be provided, as it is the PTI government’s top priority. Free textbooks will be ensured at the start of the new academic session, he added.
Highlighting the importance of educators, Sohail Afridi said, “Teachers and doctors are the pillars of society—teachers shape the future of children, while doctors safeguard public health.”
He urged students to move forward with focus, hard work, and clear goals, while also calling on school administrators to prioritise quality education.
