Former Iranian president Ahmadinejad killed in US Israel attacks

Tehran: Iranian media and British outlets have reported that former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was killed during coordinated US and Israeli missile strikes on Iran. According to the reports, Ahmadinejad’s residence was targeted in the attacks.

Meanwhile, the United States military claimed it destroyed an Iranian naval vessel during operations in the Gulf of Oman, stating that the ship is now sinking.

Iranian sources, however, said Tehran retaliated by firing ballistic missiles at the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, marking a sharp escalation in hostilities.

Iranian officials further reported that more than 200 civilians were killed and hundreds injured in US and Israeli air strikes across several cities, including the capital Tehran, as emergency services struggled to respond amid ongoing attacks.
