Actress Asma Abbas falls prey to WhatsApp scam

Abbas said that she is sad that this has become very common in our country.

Asma Abbas said that her WhatsApp got hacked, and messages asking for money were being sent to a lot of people in her contact list.

Taking to her Instagram, the actress shared a video explaining how it got hacked and apologised to all who got the message.

Abbas said that she is sad that this has become very common in our country.

She said that she received a call asking for the address as there was a parcel to be delivered. She thought it was something her daughter, Zara Noor Abbas, had sent. She said the callers then asked for a code, which she also gav,e thinking it was also for the delivery. Her WhatsApp was shut down afterwards.

She assured her fans that she is totally fine and in no need of money, but she is upset for all those who got the texts.

Her sister Bushra Ansari also took to her Instagram and posted a screenshot of a conversation on the hacked WhatsApp. She advised the viewers not to believe any such messages received from Asma’s number.
