ANKARA (Shabana Ayaz) – The Embassy of Pakistan in Turkey is set to organize a significant commemorative ceremony on February 5, 2024, at Ankara Pakistan House to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Every year on February 5th, this event is commemorated to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir. However, this year’s event holds added significance as it will also serve as a platform to show solidarity with the Turkish community, particularly those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck on February 6th last year.

The ceremony will see the participation of representatives from Kashmir and Turkey, alongside the esteemed presence of Pakistani Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Yousuf Junaid. Notably, the event is expected to draw a large gathering, including members of the Pakistani, Kashmiri, and Turkish communities residing in Turkey.
