Sharjeel Memon launches scathing attack on PTI,
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will kickstart party election activities on October 18 in memory of Karsaz bombing tragedy.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address nationwide video link on October 18 to public gatherings to be arranged at the district level.
The PPP high ups asked party leaders to ensure mandatory participation of party organizations, wings, ticket holders and party workers in public gatherings across the nation.
Sources claimed Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also announce the election strategy in the address to the workers.
Earlier, the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) convened a two-day meeting in Lahore, led by the “King of Reconciliation” Asif Zardari.
During this meeting, Asif Zardari urged PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other party members to avoid confrontational policies regarding the prevailing political landscape, including interactions with the PML-N and other allies.
Earlier,
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Raza Rabbani said on Wednesday delay in fixing date for the general elections was creating political and economic instability in the country.
In a statement issued, the PPP leader said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had been violating the constitution by not organising the election within the 90 days after the dissolution of the National Assembly.
Rabbani said the Senate should immediately hold an emergent meeting with ECP and the caretaker government for a parliamentary oversight.
The liquidation of the shares of Rekodic by the caretaker government was not in accordance with the law. The caretaker government have limited mandate given by the ECP and the economic decisions have long term impact, he said.
While,
Senior leader Sharjeel Memon launched a scathing attack on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday.
Expressing his thoughts in Peshawar, Memon said, ‘’The campaign was started by the PTI activists on social media to pollute the social environment. Respecting others is the core of Pakistani culture.’’
Memon asserted: ‘’The country’s youth were compelled to use hurl foul language at the opponents. The PTI activists, who were active on social media, were not the media activists but the terrorists of social media.’’
‘’We want to show the positive aspects of the country to the world. Only those who have no concern with social values and norms opt to use foul language,’’ Memon added.
The former Sindh minister said that his party will never give a response to anybody using foul language. ‘’But we will counter our opponents with the befitting reply based on objectivity,’’ he added.
