Quetta police Tuesday claimed to have solved the mystery of the killing of three brothers.
The DIG Police Quetta confirmed that the police had arrested the fourth brother of the deceased namely Qais on charges of killing his three young siblings.
He said that the family of Dr Nasir Achakzai, an orthopedist from Chaman, was coming back to the Railway Housing Society on the Joint Road.
When they were about to reach home, the culprit opened fire on their vehicle owing to which the doctor’s three sons—20-year-old Zaryan, 18-year-old Sadran, and another 10-year-old son—died on the spot, he said.
The DIG police said that the accused had confessed to his crime and the pistol used in the incident has also been recovered from his custody.
He said, the accused Qais often used to fight with his brothers in the past. In this tragic incident, the driver of the vehicle was injured by the firing of the accused.
