Minor Fire Erupts on Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana Set in Mumbai
The first instalment of the highly anticipated film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 6
MUMBAI: (Showbiz Desk) – A minor fire broke out on the set of actor Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Ramayana in Mumbai, but was quickly brought under control, with no injuries reported.
B.N. Tiwari, president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, confirmed the incident and said the fire started in a tent outside the studio.
According to Tiwari, the flames were extinguished before they could spread to the main set or endanger anyone present at the location.

He said the incident caused only minimal financial damage and that no one was injured in the fire.
Tiwari added that filmmakers had previously been instructed to strengthen safety arrangements following a recent fire at a nearby location. He alleged that negligence may have contributed to the latest incident on the Ramayana set.
Meanwhile, the producers have announced the global theatrical release of the first part of Ramayana through a newly released poster.
The first instalment of the highly anticipated film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 6 and will be released in both Hindi and English.
