Military Helicopter Carrying 32 People Crashes in Southwestern Nigeria

Abuja: (News Desk) – A military helicopter carrying 25 passengers and seven crew members crashed in southwestern Nigeria on Monday, according to the country’s Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo.

Keyamo said the helicopter came down near a naval base in the Agbabu-Oda area of Ondo State.

He said the wreckage of the helicopter had been located, while rescue teams were carrying out an operation at the crash site.

According to a foreign news agency, authorities have not yet officially confirmed any casualties.

However, concerns have been raised that the crash may have resulted in multiple deaths, while rescue efforts remain underway.
