KARACHI: (Finance Desk) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 1,892 points to settle at 171,492.
The index remained in positive territory throughout the trading session as buying activity supported the market, helping it recover from the previous session’s losses.

The KSE-100 Index had closed at around 169,600 points in the previous session before staging the latest recovery.
Investor sentiment remained focused on domestic economic developments, corporate earnings and broader macroeconomic conditions, which continue to influence market activity.
Trading volumes, turnover and the performance of major sectors and individual stocks remain important indicators for assessing the strength of the market’s upward movement.
