Fakhar Zaman Joins United Tigers for Abu Dhabi T10

ISLAMABAD: (Sports Desk) – Pakistan star Fakhar Zaman has joined new franchise United Tigers as their icon player for the 2026 Abu Dhabi T10 tournament.

United Tigers and the Abu Dhabi T10 announced that the 36-year-old left-handed batter will represent the franchise as its icon player in the upcoming edition.

Fakhar brings extensive international and franchise cricket experience to the newly formed team. He has represented Pakistan in three Tests, 92 ODIs and 120 T20Is, while also featuring in major T20 leagues across the world.

The explosive batter has played in competitions including the Pakistan Super League, ILT20, Caribbean Premier League, Big Bash League, Lanka Premier League, Bangladesh Premier League and England’s Vitality Blast.

Fakhar has featured in 340 T20 matches, accumulating 8,978 runs, including four centuries and 61 half-centuries.

The Abu Dhabi T10 has previously attracted several prominent international players, including Chris Gayle, Shahid Afridi, Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard.

The 2026 edition will feature eight teams and is scheduled to take place at Zayed Cricket Stadium from November 7 to 20.

United Tigers’ signing of Fakhar gives the new franchise an experienced and high-profile Pakistani batter ahead of its debut season in the competition.
