ISLAMABAD: (Showbiz Desk) – Pakistani actor Haris Waheed has spoken about the audience response to his character Shayyan Mursaleen in ARY Digital’s drama Bas Tera Saath Ho, saying viewers can disapprove of the character’s actions while still appreciating his performance.

Haris plays Shayyan as a troublesome and flawed man whose actions frequently create problems for those around him. Despite his negative traits, the character has attracted considerable attention from viewers, particularly because of the humour and quirky moments the actor has brought to the role.

Speaking to Something Haute, Haris said he had noticed the positive response viewers were giving Shayyan. According to the actor, audiences are not necessarily endorsing everything the character does, but they have recognised the effort and performance behind the role.

Haris explained that viewers still want Shayyan to face the consequences of his actions, while simultaneously appreciating the way he has portrayed the character. He said audiences have also noticed the small and unusual touches he incorporated into the role.

The actor expressed gratitude for the feedback and said the response demonstrated that viewers were paying attention not only to Shayyan’s behaviour but also to the finer details of his portrayal.
