Olympic Champion Arshad Nadeem Finishes Fifth in Javelin Final
Budapest: (Sports Desk) – Pakistan’s Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem finished fifth in the javelin throw final at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship, missing out on a podium finish.
Sri Lanka’s Ramesh Pathiranga claimed the title with an impressive throw of 91.09 metres on his fourth attempt.
Grenada’s Anderson Peters secured second place with a best effort of 86.18 metres, while Germany’s Julian Weber finished third after recording a throw of 85.89 metres.

Arshad Nadeem failed to qualify for the decisive fourth round after finishing outside the top four following his first three attempts. His best throw measured 81.49 metres.
The Paris Olympics gold medallist opened his campaign with a 74.42-metre throw before improving to 79.66 metres on his second attempt. He then registered 81.49 metres with his third throw.
Despite remaining among the world’s leading javelin throwers, Arshad once again missed out on a medal at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship.
