NADRA Vaccination Certificate Mandatory for International Travellers

ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) -International travellers will not be allowed to leave Pakistan without a NADRA vaccination certificate from September 14, according to a report issued on Sunday.

An official notification from the Health Department at Karachi Airport stated that passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah must obtain a NADRA vaccination card before departure.

The new requirement has raised concerns among travel agents, who have questioned the practicality and potential health implications of administering multiple vaccines at the airport.

The Travel Agents Association warned that giving four vaccines to a traveller at the same time could potentially cause medical complications.

The association also said the required vaccines were not readily available in the market, creating additional difficulties for passengers preparing for international travel.

Travel agents have urged the relevant authorities to review the implementation of the requirement and ensure that the necessary vaccines are readily available before the new policy takes effect.
