Zamil’s Marriage to Hamna Leaves Zaryab Heartbroken

Dar-e-Nijaat Fans Furious After Zamil Betrays Zaryab With Hamna

ISLAMABAD: (Showbiz Desk) – Drama serial Dar-e-Nijaat has taken an unexpected turn after Zamil’s sudden marriage to Hamna left Zaryab shattered and sparked a heated debate among viewers over his choices and the role of religion in his decisions.

Zamil’s decision to distance himself from Zaryab following their emotionally intense relationship has become one of the most discussed developments in the drama. Many viewers have questioned whether his actions can be justified by his religious transformation, particularly when deception and emotional pain are involved.

The debate intensified after Hide Side Magazine published a detailed commentary on Zamil’s character and his recent behaviour. The review questioned the portrayal of deception and emotional betrayal as something that could be defended in the name of religion, while also drawing attention to the contrast between Zamil’s religious journey and his treatment of Zaryab.

In its commentary, Hide Side Magazine questioned, “Ye konsa deen kehta hai ke kisi ko aisa dhoka do ke wo kahin ka na rahe,” raising concerns about the kind of religious interpretation that could justify leaving someone emotionally devastated through deception.

The commentary also questioned why Zamil appeared to use Zaryab and later present himself as completely righteous because of his faith. It further compared the roles played by Arham and Zaryab in Zamil’s life, particularly in relation to his religious transformation.

According to the review, Arham was not someone Zamil had been especially close to, yet he played an important role in bringing him closer to religion. Zaryab, on the other hand, shared a deep emotional bond with Zamil, with both characters appearing genuinely invested in their relationship for much of the story.

The review questioned why Zamil did not make a similar effort to communicate his religious beliefs to Zaryab instead of abruptly pushing her away. It argued that his religious journey could have been handled through dialogue rather than deception and emotional betrayal.

One of the strongest statements in the commentary was, “Sunnat dhoka de kar poori nahi ki ja sakti.” The remark challenges the idea that religious practices or beliefs can be used to defend dishonesty or emotional manipulation. The criticism is directed at Zamil’s actions and their portrayal in the drama, rather than at religion itself.

The commentary also pointed out that Zaryab is already a Muslim woman from a Muslim family. It questioned whether religion was truly the reason behind Zamil’s changed priorities and suggested that he could have attempted to explain his beliefs to her rather than ending their relationship through deception.

The latest episodes have focused heavily on the emotional impact of Zamil’s decision. Zaryab is visibly devastated after seeing the man she loved change his attitude and choose a completely different path, making her heartbreak a central part of the current storyline.

Dur-e-Fishan Saleem’s performance as Zaryab has also received appreciation from viewers. Her emotional expressions and reactions have helped convey the character’s confusion, pain and sense of betrayal as she struggles to understand Zamil’s sudden transformation.

Meanwhile, Zamil’s marriage to Hamna has introduced another potential twist. Hamna, played by Romaisa Khan, has so far been presented as having a seemingly respectable image, but developments surrounding the Episode 13 teaser have raised questions about her past.

The new storyline has particularly intrigued viewers because of Zamil’s earlier harsh judgment of Zaryab and questions about her character. His marriage to Hamna has therefore prompted discussions about whether he is applying different standards to the people around him.

At the same time, Abu Bakar, played by Sheheryar Munawar, has emerged as a source of support for Zaryab. His character has offered her guidance and emotional backing as she struggles with the consequences of Zamil’s decision.

Some viewers have now begun rooting for Abu Bakar and Zaryab, hoping that she will eventually find happiness, respect and emotional security after the heartbreak caused by Zamil. Support for the potential pairing has also become part of the growing online discussion surrounding the drama.

With its latest developments, Dar-e-Nijaat has moved beyond a conventional love triangle and is now exploring themes of love, faith, deception, personal choices and accountability. The drama has also raised questions about the difference between genuine religious transformation and actions that are defended in the name of faith.
