GHQ Ceremony Highlights Pakistan-Türkiye Defence And Strategic Partnership
RAWALPINDI: (News Desk) – A ceremony marking the 104th anniversary of Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day was held at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, with Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan İrfan Neziroğlu attending as the Guest of Honour.
The event highlighted the longstanding bonds of brotherhood and friendship between Pakistan and Türkiye, built on shared values, mutual respect and decades of support for each other.
Participants paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of the Turkish Armed Forces and acknowledged their contributions to Türkiye’s national history.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity for Pakistan and Türkiye to reaffirm their commitment to further strengthening their defence and strategic partnership.
Military officers, officials from the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and other distinguished guests attended the ceremony.
The event concluded with expressions of goodwill for the people and Armed Forces of Türkiye, reflecting the close and enduring relationship between the two brotherly countries.
