Four More Dengue Cases Confirmed at Faisalabad Hospital
Three Family Members Among Four New Dengue Cases in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: (Staff Reporter) – Dengue virus has been confirmed in four additional patients receiving treatment at Allied Hospital One in Faisalabad, taking the total number of dengue patients at the facility to 17.
Among the newly confirmed cases, three are women from the same family who live in Railway Colony, Faisalabad.
The fourth patient is a resident of Batala Colony in the city. All four patients are currently under treatment at Allied Hospital One.
The latest cases come amid heightened concerns over dengue transmission during the ongoing monsoon season, when stagnant water can create favourable conditions for mosquito breeding.
Earlier, on August 5, 2026, Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry directed officials to intensify anti-dengue activities and warned that negligence in preventive measures would not be tolerated.
He stressed that instructions issued by the Government of Punjab must be followed strictly and implemented in letter and spirit to prevent the spread of dengue and control mosquito breeding during the monsoon period.
