PTI Raises Serious Concerns Over Imran Khan’s Health

Gohar Urges Authorities to Ensure Proper Treatment for Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has expressed serious concern over the health of party founder Imran Khan, stressing that the party will not compromise on his medical treatment.

Speaking alongside former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Barrister Gohar said PTI considers Imran Khan’s health a matter of utmost importance and wants him to receive the best possible medical care.

He said Imran Khan had reportedly been denied meetings with visitors for nearly 300 days, while the party had repeatedly called for his treatment to be carried out under the supervision of his family.

According to Barrister Gohar, a report submitted to the Supreme Court had also highlighted concerns regarding Imran Khan’s elevated blood pressure, further intensifying the party’s worries about his wellbeing.

“Our demand is straightforward: the PTI founder should be provided the best available treatment at a reputable hospital,” he said.

Barrister Gohar added that PTI had approached the high courts around 25 times and the Supreme Court 15 times over issues related to meetings with Imran Khan and other matters concerning him.

He maintained that permitting family members to meet the former prime minister would help address growing concerns about his health.

“We are deeply concerned about Imran Khan’s health. His family must be allowed to meet him,” Barrister Gohar said.
