Pakistan Delays Hajj 2027 Applications For Government And Private Schemes
ISLAMABAD: (News Desk) – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has revised the schedule for receiving applications for Hajj 2027 under both the government and private schemes. According to sources, applications and the required payments will now be accepted from August 18, instead of August 17.
Applicants will be able to submit their forms and make payments online through the Pak Hajj app and digital portal, or visit designated bank branches. Under the government scheme, only pilgrims who have already completed registration will be eligible to apply.
The government Hajj scheme will collect the total package cost in two equal installments. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, with submissions closing once the government quota is reached.
A total of 107,526 pilgrims have been allocated seats under the government scheme, while 71,684 pilgrims, representing 40 percent of Pakistan’s overall quota, will travel through the private scheme.
Pilgrims will initially be required to deposit 50 percent of their selected package cost. The government scheme’s 40-day Hajj package has been priced at Rs1.2 million, while the shorter 20-to-25-day package will cost Rs1.3 million.
